KW releases new suspension for our M6's

During checking the KW website, which I do from time to time, I saw where they finally came out with the M6, coupe KW 3's for our cars on Jan. 15th 2008. They add that the kit includes a few parts to bypass the EDC so the owner doesn't get any MIL's. I'm ordering mine as soon as I find a good price. I've found $2,300 so far. By Tuesday of new week, they will be ordered. Has anyone installed these yet?
I once thought you could use the ones from the regular 650 series. But by coming out with a kit speical for the M6, it should be different somehow. I'm looking for a little softer setting to be able to travel on a (in need of repairs bad) concrete Hwy 90. I'm hoping a little softer setting would take those expansion joints better.

Surprised no one else is interested. So they just bypass the EDC and there will just be the one default setting of the shocks?

I would be interested, but it's kind of difficult to go without the EDC. I am curious to hear how the change-out goes.

If the coils are properly calibrated and valved, you wont care about EDC. Many times the ride quality will actually improve, allong with handling. Stiff does not necessarily mean better handling. I would expect a firm, but compliant ride. Nothing beats a perfect set of coils.. not to say the electromagnetic system doesnt work well.

I have the KW on my M5 and it rides really well. I swtiched over from RDsport which i found a bit too bouncy at time.
