        Shades

I just switched to an m6 from an m5. I had the sunshade option on my m5...what do you do with sunshades on an m6...do they exist?

There is a Roller Sun Shield for the rear window.
It is a dealer installed item and manually operated.
        http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...82&hg=51&fg=95

        $145 from Tischer getbmwparts.com
        $141 from Crown parts.crownauto.com

I bought one, but have not installed it. It mounts on top of the rear shelf, but the install requires the removal of the rear shelf. To remove the rear shelf, many pieces of interior must be removed (C pillar trim, rear seats, interior side panels...).

I have not seen an optional factory electric sunshade anywhere, not even in Europe.

I have the sunshades on my 545 and I have never used them once. I'd rather just spend the money on nice tint. The only time I ever pop the rear sunshades up is when I tell girls its a 007 bullet proof shield
