        BLACKED OUT my grill today

I blacked out my grill today. It was very easy to remove. I took the complete assembly apart and buffed off the chrome detail on the slats and then sanded and painted the chrome trim. Then slapped it all back together and here it is....

grill looks great. damn those wheels are big - i hate the fact that i wanna stick with 20's for performance - if i get the interlagos blue im going to match the grill to the paint. Ill take it off myself but ill probably have a shop paint them for me to match the paint.

Looks great. Did you paint it saphire, and how are you going to prevent chipping? Did you just use a buffing wheel on the slats and didn't paint them?
