Tuned M6 vs Tuned CL65 AMG

Here are some videos of M6 and CL65 racing from a roll, both cars tuned with the following mods:

M6 has:
Evosport pulley
Evosport ECU upgrade
removed carbon filter
removed pre-cat
and it dynoed 476 at the wheels

CL65 AMG has:
Evotech ECU/TCU


Round 1 (CL65 had traction "on" and did not downshift)

Kind of what I was expecting. My old stock SL65 was already damn fast as it was, but it was boring as hell to drive. No driver involvement what so ever.

IMO, the best thing about 65's is how easy they are to tune. The only thing you need to get 700hp and 900lb-ft torque is an ecu tune and you can run low 11's all day (or high 10's in SL65)

There are a couple of very nice upgrades coming for the 65's also.. VRP is working on a 1,000hp+ SL65 AMG right now:

What is VRP? I also know that the S65 AMG (old bodystyle) is a beast. The Porsche 911 Turbo Tiptronic had ig problems with that big and heavy car

That's true, in the first race the M6 pulled on CL65 at 120mph+. The CL65 owner was then advised to turn off his traction control, downshift (he was in D in 1st race), and put more gas in the tank (it was less than 1/4 tank in 1st race). Apparently, these changes made a huge difference in performance.
