Since it is my events I decide what the rules are.
I pay for these events, airiflemds and evrything related to them. I dont charge them one penny.
What you should be interested in is that these videos are produced .I produce them, since they give the site exposure and I want to do it my way.
I am not controlling videos; I am controlling when they are launched. For your informatin these videos are posted for free if you have failed to notice.
Ye,s I do understand that you want to se eALAL of these 80 videos the same day they are filmed, but that is not possible.
And you might want me to send you a free DVD or Bluray as well, but I cannot do that. But be sure, you wll see the videos free; I want ot decide whe nthey are launched
Also, may I ask what lne of work you are in?
You have every right to do what you want with YOUR videos. You have NO right to tell others what they can do with THEIRS. Your "rule" carries no weight in this respect as it is not backed by law. People can use their cell phone cameras, their own camcorders, or whatever else they please even if it is in direct conflict your own set of rules.
I did not mean that I wanted to see all 80 videos at once. What I mean is a video should be free to posted or viewed by the community regardless if you like it or not. If the video conflicts with your personal endeaver, it should not matter. A video about an M6 is a video about an M6, therefore relevant to the community. You are biased in this matter as you have a financial angle which you are looking to monopolize.
You still have your videos, and you will make a DVD. You decide how and when they are released. That is fantastic. You will promote and market your video and make whatever the consumer decides. Capitalism is great. What is not great is censorship.
I am not sure what relevance my line of work has?

So you mean you think it is OK to film on a movieset, and then sell it as YOUR video?
It is backed by a verbam and written agreement.
Where do I say I do NOT like it to be published? I DO NOT. I dislike the timing of the publishing, I want to publish it when I please since it is MY event.
Where am I biased? The video WILL be published, that is not any doubt about that. I want it published when products related to the event are released. Hence, the "not publis hall of them the first day".
Where do you get it from that I wil lcensor it? I will NOT. I will just WAIT to publish it and not publish it the same day.
The relevance is if I through your line of work could help you understand, but since you do not want to disclose that I cant.

I'm having a little difficulty understanding what you are saying. My line of work would help me understand? I think you need to read what you wrote again as it is not very coherent.
Filming a Hollywood film and then selling it is piracy. That is not what is happening here, the person is not SELLING anything. They are posting their OWN video.
If I go on a studio lot with a video camera whatever I record is my property. If that happens to be the ending to a blockbuster so be it. Your analogy is very far off from what is happening here.
Look I understand you put a lot of effort into this. I understand what you are trying to do. I thnk you don't understand that people want to see ALL videos and not be censored by someone who has an obvious financial interest. You don't have to take bias as a huge negative, it is simply a fact.
What happens when other people want to release their own videos of events? I want to form my own opinion without having a single source in control of the information. So if other people at the event have their own videos, I want to see them as well so I know the findings are not one sided. Makes perfect sense to me, but if someone else posts a video I suppose I have to look forward to you editing the post or deleting it. THAT is the issue.

Again; to explain to you what you and I are discussing above I can give you examples from your like of work. For that I need to know what you are working with.
Posting a video that you filmed on a moviestage is indeed piracy, even if you are not selling it. Or you can film in a movie theater, not OK either.
I don't see the analogy far off. If a participant agreed on being invited with the termos no filming and publish that on the internet it shoudl be adhered to. An agreement of participation.

Again: ALL MOVIES WIL LBE PUBLISHED, not just right now or the dayt after the event. I have been stating this in several posts above, why don't you see this? You take for granted that not ALL will be published?
This is not X-files, why would I edit the films? Have I edited the film above; no.
To make these events any kind of financieal sense it must be a coordintaed release of the movies. Do you understand?

You don't seem to understand I am not talking about YOUR videos. I am talking about other videos which may or may not directly conflict with yours. I am not debating if you are going to release all your videos, completely irrelevant point you brought up. You can't seem to see past your own videos.
I'm going to let this go and go look up videos on youtube now
I am going to post videos OTHER people have filmed as well (against the rules ) but I want to publish them in the pace I prefeer.
A video shooting a race between two cars (but fro mthe other car) will ruin the suspense, do you follow that

Excellent, that is exactly what I was trying to get across, all videos shown, against the rules or not, yours or theirs. Now where is the original link?
