One other question about the M6

i was reading bmw's specs online about the new 335i Coupe and 335xi Sedan.
I compared it to the M6 and found that the 335i Coupe is only 1 second behind the famous 507hp V10 engine of the M6. How is this possible?

The 335i Coupe is also half the price.

I would love to hear and see some feedback because i am confused about the subject of why there is an M6?

Go sit in a 335i Coupe and an M6. You will see and feel some of the reason. Also the 335i won't break 200mph, not that you really need to. My dealer here has already installed the soft ware pack on a 335i to give it 100 more HP. They said it was unreal but still not as good of a feel as the M3 and M6. Don't be caught up by just 0-60 times. If 0-60 was the only reason to own a car I would have kept my 2002 NSX with crazy mods that did 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and 12.4 in the 1/4 mile, all motor no turbo no super charger.

        I could see maybe a 2008 M3 over an M6 but not the 335i.

Are you refering to 1/4 mile times? 1 sec is a lot. A Porsche GT is
a full sec faster than the M6. The GT is in a different world.

Of course you can mod the 335 to get closer to M6 times in the quarter
but it's still not an M6.
