Vorsteiner - yeah or nay
I ordered the Vorsteiner hood but I'm having second thoughts on the install. I think it will look good with the carbon theme I have going but I'm wondering if it will be over the top. Right now the beast looks like sleek and a sleeper. I think this may be too ricey or tacky?? Curious what your thoughts on this are especially folks who have seen it in person or even have it installed (would you do it again)?? I would be painting it and only keeping the vents carbon colored. Thanks

Personally I wouldn't do it.
But you have it already, if your car is black paint the hood
and keep the vents only carbon IMO.
Edit: I just seen it. you have Indy red I don't how it would
look like if it is paint the same color but you sure will be special.

90% of the world will think its tacky... People will ask you what happened to your hood??
However its your car and if you like it go for it..
IMHO, I think its cool.. Do a search, a fellow member painted the sides and left the carbon down the center it looked awesome .

I really like it. Here is a picture from the Kellener-Sport website of a carbon hood on a black car. I'm really thinking of getting one too...

I figure I'll see what it looks like and if it's a job I don't want I'll swap it back with the factory. I'm already out the $$ since the custom build them based on orders... I'll post pics once she's done and we'll do a vote
I've seen the one painted and left exposed down the middle... nice but that will only work on a black beast. we'll see how she turns out! Anyone want to get in line for cheap hood if I decide nay??

I might...but I have a convertible and I have yet to see pics of that hood on a convertible...if it would match with my roof I would gladly take it off your hands.

Anthony, have you ever seen pics of that hood on a convertible? I love the hood but not sure how it would look on our car...
