disturbing 08 m6 news [Incorrect]
i just read an article on the new 08 M6 coupe, and i hope it is very untrue. I just saw that they are putting a V8 in the new m6 coupe. If anyone knows anything about this b.s. please let me know!!!

That has got to be the worst typo ever in the history of automotive journalism. Idiots. They're obviously talking about the 650. Steptronic, V8...18mpg

allautoreviews? looks like the US weekly of the auto world to me. start cruising car and driver or road and track for true reporting. The S85 V10 is one of the most amazing engines out there, its won numerous awards you think they are going to swap it out for a V8 for fuel economy?

Agree. Also, the grammar and sentence structure in the article are quite poor. Emphasis is mine in the following examples. Simply pathetic, as well as painful and difficult to read.
"... The car has is the most valuable addition to the BMW line-up. The 2008 BMW M6 Coupe has got utility features such as..."
"The 2008 BMW M6 Coupe has got powerful engine specifications as well. Take for example BMW 645Ci Coupe."

Whomever wrote this isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. But ... let's not discourage the guy as we need to make sure that he doesn't give up his job as a journalist and decides to become a brain surgeon. Then we would really have a problem.

I don't know what these guys have been smoking but their website goes on with distributing totally wrong information. On the same M6 V8 page is a link to what they call " The new 2008 BMW Z3 roadster"  and on the 2008 X5 page they mix pictures of the old E53 model with the new E70 model.
