        Individual Onyx blue/Platinum Merino M6

        Hi,

Just thought i'd introduce myself and show my car to you guys, im based in the UK and recently bought a M6 after a couple of years with a E46 M3 SMG Cab.

After debating what to get and getting fed up with the wait for the new M3 with DSG/SMG, I decided to get myself a new toy.

Its in individual Onyx blue with individual full platinum leather interior with platinum alcantara headlining and the individual wood on the dash.

The colour is amazing in the sun with purple and green shades becoming apparent, unfortunately its been dull and grey for most of the time here in the UK since I bought it and not had my digicam with me all the time, so the last shot is from my mobile phone which doesnt show the colour up well.

Its got all the options, comfort access, climate screen, bluetooth, universal remote etc

Compared to my old M3 it feels much bigger but straight line speed is incredible and handles very well for a car of this size. I ran against my bro's 997 Turbo and he was quicker but there wasnt as much in it at all.

Fuel economy is a joke, 8-14 mpg is what i've been getting around town and low 20's on a motorway run. Oh well, at least my shell points will get a boost...

Amazing colour, good luck keeping that leather clean though. Enjoy it.

Great color combo. It will be quite a task keeping the leather clean. Nevertheless, great great looking car.

        Enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments, the leather is a pain to keep clean but I love the looks and get nothing but admiration for it so I just give it a clean and protect once a week. I've had lemon leather in my E91 and its still looking good after a year of hard use.

One question though, coming from an E46, is it just me or is the turning circle/steering lock on the M6 really bad, I find it wont even turn into my drive easily as I used to be able to if cars are parked close, and as for supermarket parking spaces, its a ten point monouvre to get it straight and in the centre of the bay.
