        M6 to race?

Was thumbing through an old copy of Bimmer Mag (April05)....in it they said that the M6 was Homologated by BMW to make it eligible to run in FIA GT series, LeMans Endurance series..the ALMS...and LeMans itself....its competitors???...GT1 cars like the Maserati MC12 AM DBR9..F-Car 575...Saleen S7 and a Lambo Murcie....
obviously this has not happened....anybody think it will????...Maybe a Schnizter fielded team???
        Regards
        S

That intent may have been predicated by BMW's earlier plans to build an M6 CSL. My guess is that the forthcoming M3 CSL will assume that role, given that an M6 CSL now seems unlikely.

Very very likely you will see a M6 racing in 08 but may not be ALMS.
