Finally-Dinan Front roll control and rear sway here anyone buying?
Dinan took alot longer for this to come out and they still have not released the springs. Anyone tried it yet? Anyone gonna try it?
http://www.dinancars.com/Series.asp?...%20Tuning#3438
After hearing Steve Dinan talk at Bimmerfest it seemed like they put alot of R&D coming out with a low cost and very effective method to increase handling. Chime in please...

Already have them... well-sort of. They are in my garage awaiting installation. I'll report my results. The price seems very reasonable.

That is great Russ, but where in your area can you really test it? It is not like you have any tracks nearby or decent roads. Oh well, do your best to evaluate them on the silly little roads you have near you and let us know.

I don't know guys. I don't think the car needs them unless you are really a hardcore track guy. For fast GT cruising, the stock setup is fine for me. You guys must be much better drivers than I am because I rarely if ever come to the limit of the suspension. You guys must really push the **** out of the car!!

Actually some of it is my fault. Heavy braking on a downhill turn will load the front end of the car and induce a lot of understeer (Nurburgring anyone???). I'm working on my tail-braking techniques and also using the throttle to unload the front end, but there are spots on the Nordschleife where these techniques require either a slower speed, better tires, or a tighter suspension. Dinan says that with this simple mod, they are able to put almost 90 pounds of force on the current front end bar by modifying the mounting bracket which tightens up the bar. I guess I could use a good set of tires too...
Yes, highway cruising is fun, but getting your wife sick driving the Nordschleife is even more fun!

You da Man Russ. I have Hartge springs I know you have H&R these help alot. However, I have also been using trail braking and quick off the brake to get the car around better since there is alot of understeer. I still get on the throttle gingerly at first since after trail braking and off the brake hard I do not want to add the throttle too quickly eventhough I am in MDM mode I do not want to create a bad habit. I have hit the gas hard and felt the DSC kick in I know if I had DSC off I would have spun out big time.
These cars are so fun and awesome to drive making them even more controllable would be an even better high!

Understood Russ..makes sense! We cannot all be so fortunate as the "Mighty Russ Ramz" with his heavily modded missile! You the man Russ! Alas, most of the owners here are relegated to lowly highway jaunts and the unchallenging feast of plebes. If only I could dare to experience the ring every day, I too would want this mod as a matter of self preservation God only knows what would happen to me as I foolishly attempted to throw the Big GT around the Ring As I had mentioned earlier, only guys really pushing the **** out of their cars need consider this mod. You certainly qualify as one of them. Good to hear from you man, happy cruising!

No, not yet. I'm will do it next week when I have my Dinan exhaust installed. I was initially going to install it myself, but I've been busy with work. I'll keep you posted. I expect to have it done by the beginning of next week.
