Formula BMW experience
Participated Formula BMW experience last month with a couple of my buddies...boy is it fun...definitely got the chance to feel some lateral Gs . Chasis setup is perfect...excellent steering response, makes the M6 feels numb and uninvolving in comparison

Did some Formula BMW races as well in Bahrain 05-06 season and managed to get first place more than once
It was my first single seater experience and it was one of the most challenging races i participated in

Looks like an awesome time! How was it you were able to participate? I thought those cars were used exclusively for the teen mentoring program.

Well...its actually organized by BMW Indonesia and each participant has to pay about $1,000 for a half day drive of the Formula BMWs. First five laps is familiarisation lap guided by a instructor in a pace car. Next 10 laps, we given a chance to push the car a bit further, but we are not allowed to overtake each other. It was great fun...140bhp engine, 450kg chasiss, and full racing slicks :-)

That looks like it must have been an incredible experience. I am very envious!
