Radar Jammer Install recommendation - cut the bumper?

I scoured the forums before posting this because I was sure someone would have covered it. But alas, I couldn't find any specific mention of my question so here goes.

I've got the M40 blinder laser jammer with 4 sensors. I'm planning on putting 2 in front, and two on the back. I was talking to the installer this week, and they suggested that we cut out two small sections in the front bumper to put the sensors. They'd basically be flush with the bumper and located in between the parking assist sensors.

The installer has a great overall reputation in my area, but I'm looking for some confirmation before I cut into the beast. Has anyone done this? Any issues or problems I should be aware of?

No need to cut. Mine are snugged up at 1:00 and 11:00 from the license plate and they are ticked away nicely. No way would I cut the bumper.

EDIT: Here are the pics:

I have mine mounted in the kidneys and they work great. I have been saved multiple times and recovered the cost of the jammers for sure!

My installer opened the front and installed behind the lower front grill. No cuts needed, just several hours of labor. Looks great. If you need, I might take some pics and post here.

My install is a bit different from all of these posts. I have them at a 45 degree angle in the brake ventilation intakes under the headlights. Still works like a charm and has saved me at least 4 times that I know of.

+1 No need to cut. I have them in the brake duct as well. My installer thought behind the grill "might" block the signal. Also, we dont have front license plates in Florida

Don't cut as everyone else mentioned. Mine was placed flush on the center black plastic mesh grille up front.

Thanks for all the feedback. I was concerned about slicing and dicing into my bumper and this just confirms it's not necessary. Now of course I just read about the new M45 blinder jammer and my M40 just arrived 3 weeks ago...I'm bummed I didn't catch that one in all my research...I would have gladly waited the 3 weeks...now I must decide whether to upgrade or not to upgrade, particularly given the overall install process. I'd rather install the latest and greatest.
