Well, in any case, great video! I guess good things are worth waiting.
And waiting.
For.

I don't know how many times I have to tell you , but the car is a 996 Turbo with a 650 hp kit, so a RUF R Turbo 650 with IRC Integrated Roll Cage and the r turbo scoops for the IC. Also, the gearing is changed.
The car does NOT have any 750 hp. I repeat does NOT have 750 hp.
With all these rumors the car will soon have well over 1.000 hp.
Thanks for listening.

Russ,
actually he didn t misshifted on hte 2nd run:
.In the rerun I drove almost perfect except for hitting the rev limiter once which actually didn't matter much....I managed to win over the M6.....But I could notice how he gained on me as I went into 5th gear........had we gone further and in higher speeds I think he would be faster than the Z06....

Adding fuel to the discussion, eh?
Russ's car we know is good for 333 kph. I'm guessing Conga's somewhat modded Vette is probably about good for the same (isn't the stock Z06 good for ~318?).
They are both great cars, but let's face it guys...the only way an M is going to beat a C6 Z06 is through FI or Dinan's 620 hp stroker motor.

As I see it the M6 would have overtaken the Vette in the last race just give one or two carlenghts more of total distance. The Vette was clearly loosing speed there.

Gustav, just curious, in your specs of the M6 on the video, it says 445 RWHP but also says 558 HP "at the wheels". Did you mean to say 558 HP at the crank?
BTW, thanks for all these videos. I blame you for making me want to make my car faster although I will probably never need that much power. =)
