LCD Display Panel ?
I recently noticed that my lcd display panel is very bright such that I can see what appears to be light tube bleed at certain points and the overall display appears at max. Using the brightness controls in idrive or the wheel next to the headlight switch has no effect (although the idrive slider used to change the display's intensity). Can someone that has v24.x please check to see if this is a s/w bust in 24.x and let me know? thanx!

Happens to my HUD sometimes when I had 23.XX and 25.04. In my case, it corrects itself. If it doesn't, take it up with the dealer on your next service.

Thanx. Played around with it some more today. In some cases I could turn the brightness up and it could come down a couple of notches but then stop, in other cases it wouldn't get brighter or lighter and in still others it would get brighter, then dimmer, and then brighter even though I was still turning it down. Will definitely discuss with the dealer at the upcoming oil change.

There is a sensor the size of a pinhole immediately under the LCD screen, dead center. I believe it is a light sensor, where it automatically adjust to the ambient light around. Make sure it is clean and not obstructed.
