Hi RUF ROCK!

How would you rate the shorter gearing vs. the standard gearing?

I am in the process of buying a Rt12 and am thinking about ordering a shorter gearing. What would be your recommendation?

Many thanks & congrats on your car!

P.S.: I would rather not install the aero kit or whatever optical package you have in mind. Your car is perfect understatement as it is now

I hear you about finding cars to race. Heffner Performance in Sarasota, Florida is finishing up a twin turbo conversion on my Gallardo. When it is completed it will make at least 700rwhp on 93 octane and somewhat more on the race gas program. I lined up a race with a 599, which should be fun.

What octane fuel were you using for the airfield races?

That race should not be a problem based on this video

It added up to serious number races. How it all ended? I think I promised Gustav to not reveal anything until videos have come out. Until then let me just state; that RUF(Thx Peter V for a fanstatic job) has build me a great everyday supersportscar. It has the RT12 engine plus a lot of extra goodies. With +700 hp and +900 nm - It kicks like a mule on steroids and accelerates like a bat out of hell bethween 200 -and +300 km/h.

Why do you claim 700+ hp when SUPRA (who is partner in RUF Sweden) states it has 650 hp?

Whats the truth? 650 or 700+?

I don't care much about special conditions like gas, humidity, air pressure

I wanna know what the spec on that car is, 650 or more..

Hardly dont think this car had time for a dyno run since it was completed Saturday morning and rushed to Sweden.. as Erik said, its a Rt12-engine and should put up 650 hp.. so my question, is there something else made on it?
