c'mon t bone, lets not start that again. there were statements about the sl65 having some problems earlier in this thread...that's all. i'm not making excuses for anything, just relaying what i recall reading about that car, at this event, ON THIS BOARD.

There's a 'Search this Thread' option at the top of this forum.

I'm assuming that you are referring to this post by Gustav. He's not stating that the SL65 has problems. Just when compared back to back with the S65 that it was slightly slower. You could also interpret that as the S65 being a very healthy example seeing how it compared with the tuned S600.

maybe that was it and maybe i read more into it knowing that an sl65 should easily out perform an s65...but i also thought there was an indication from someone AT the event that stated the sl65 might have suffered i/c problems. regardless, i don't need to make excuses since i've yet to lose to an m so ask the peanut gallery pipe down will ya.

btw, i do know how to use the search feature but it just wasn't as important to me as it appears to be to you.

What's important to me is that the neutrality of the event isn't doubted without good reason.

The CGT only has ABS and TCS (ASR), but no ESC (PSM). So it should help you while you're accellerating on a straight line, as long as there are no lateral dynamics in the game.

You may not have lost to an M but it looks like you are going to lose a bet against an M car...... Get your credit card ready.....a nice chromed M License Frame Holder would be swell on your MB.
