I am EXTREMELY relaxed while driving here in Germany. People don't tend to "come from nowhere" like they do in the states. Nearly all drivers use their turn-signals here and opposed to the states, if you use your turn signal, most drivers are curteous enough to let you in and not race to cut you off. It really wasn't all that big of a deal to drive that fast with an open road like that.
I had to laugh when I read your reply because it was the first thing that came to mind when you commented on YouTuber about anywhere in the US you can do this. Not when some bozo thinks 70mph in the left lane is fast

Great customer service!

The GPS camera was mounted in that foam. I cut out a section of foam for the camera to fit. The foam bed was placed on the floor of the passenger foot well.
Thanks a mill!

Very nice video Russ! I got lucky enough to hit 152 mph here in Atlanta going down I75. Though, I had to slow down because some douchebag in the left lane was doing the speed limit... I mean seriously, who does the speed limit in the left lane...

I just did some calculations based on the theoretical wheel diameter.

19*25.4=482.6 rim diameter
285*35/100= 99.75 sidewall
482.6 + 2*99.75 = 682.1 wheel diameter
682.1 * 3.14159 = 2.143 meter wheel circ.
7th gear final ratio 0.83*3.62 = 3.0046

8250 * 60 * 2.143 / 3.0046 = 353 KPH theoretical top speed in 7th at rev limiter

It is interesting that at maximum HP, ie 7750 rpm, the speed in 7th is 332 kph, maybe that is why you hit the wall at that speed.

Any body know of correlation between theoretical and actual whhel size at these speeds

Would the wheel diameter change anything? (19" vs 20") Isn't the OD of the tire and wheel the same?

Tire Expansion?

If you are talking about tire expansion at high speeds, some think it is negligable...

http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_speed_rpm.htm

I guess we would have to contact Michelin / Continental.
