I had the same thing a few months back....driving on the highway in 160km/h and suddenly automatic downshift, max 3500 rpm (I think) and a reduced power warning light.

I stoped at a Tesco parking lot and waited for 5 minutes, everything seemed to work well when starting up again.

The next morning I had the same problem so I took it to the dealer where it stayed for 3 weeks!!!

It turned out to be some air pump?? (still have no idea which damn pump it was) that was defect and only 5 of my beloved 10 cylinders were working.

Air pump replaced and now it runs like a watch

I had the "Engine Fault! Drive Moderately" warning and the revs were restricted to 3.500. In my car the fuelpump was wrecked.

Cheers,
Christopher

I had that problem, but the issue was cleared after the latest software was uploaded to the DME.

I just got this today - I have 3,200 miles on the beast...taking it to the dealer on Monday so I'll let you all know what caused it. Seems like others have had a variety of different issues

Yes I think it's a general message that covers a LOT of fault codes.
