It's great to have the choice, but after a careful look through the options, I have to admit I would go back to the standard range of body and trim colours to make my purchase.
I would like to see what Diamant metallic looks like on a car, but I don't think I am brave enough to order it.
I know that it is not available for M5 .. But can you guys imagine a M5 in that Phoenix Yello Metallic with black merino and piano black ? :confused3 It would be something ( or at least would catch lots of eyes ...)
Thanks Gustav!! I have one comment...it says on page 42, M6 Convertible, that it is using Sun Reflective Leather. However, from what I understand, the new 3 Convertible is the ONLY convertible that BMW offers with this option. However, BMW may be using sun reflective technology Merino Leather in Individual cars.
I have also realized that BMW has added option code 490: Special Paint to the BMW Locator. There is only 1 car in the US with this option and it is going to a dealer in the US, somewhere in the Midwest. I could not find the exact price, however, the last time BMW allowed people to get custom paint is was on the E53 X5: Imola Red, Carbon Black, and Estoril Blue is was a $2,500 option. I have heard in the past that a "custom" color could be near $5,000 and an additional 2 to 4 week wait time. Just thought people should know this.
