Are the 08' M5's coming out sooner than normal due to the new Body?

Seems like they just came out with the 07's a few months ago. Any info. Thanks!

07 was a very short model year. 08s are hitting the shores as we tyoe.

It's typical for BMW to introduce new model years for March production, these are usually facelifted cars. Same thing happened with the E46. The facelifted body came in March '03 production, although at that point BMW was still calling them '03s, even though by the diagnostic computers they were seen as '04s.
