i saw the car last year at bimmerfest, they didnt even have the hood popped open but i know a few tuners that have supercharged the m5 and are showing at bimmerfest.. lets see in 2 weeks what happens..
Guess the $100,000 Florida Crocodile interior wasn't a big enough draw.
It is sadly amusing that the trajectory that many of us predicted - what, about a year ago? - has come to pass. The whole enterprise smelled from the earliest press releases, with the wildly unsubstantiated performance claims (240 mph!!). Put together a prototype for photoshoots, create some buzz, draw in 10 well-heeled suckers who could pony up hefty down payments, and C-YA!
I hope in the end there were no takers in this scam...

Their universal kit would work and it's only like $6000 or something....but you'd still have to have software created for it.....but it sure seems doable by the right people....or is the compression hold them back?

no, look under "Products" and see their universal kit....I actually spoke to them about doing it on a 95 540/6 a while back.....no problem...as long as you can have SW written for it..and your compression can handle it....you can put it on almost anything...a e60 M5 wouldn't be difficult AT ALL.......

There is a reputable company that is looking into this type of
system right now. Here's to hoping that they succeed.
No kidding.....I have heard nothing but good things about STS kits and I was pretty sceptical at first....you don't get HUGE gains but 25+ percent or more is pretty good on a 500 hp engine.....
