And not in the Canadian Ordering Guide either (at least not yet). We usually get exactly the same options on vehicles (although packaged differently).

Don't count on it! With relatively limited torque, the M-cars don't really need 4WD, and M is supposed to be focused on weight reduction (which is a bit of a joke - why do all M's weigh more than the equivalent Alpinas?)

The Alpina X5 is the way to go next year, if you value 4WD

I know that this is going to be controversial ... Yesterday , I spent some time comparing the 2007/2008 door panels and in my humble opinion the "old " one looks much , much better .. The new door panel looks antiquated , almost vintage while the old much more muscular , sharp and in line with the M5 profile ... I am sure that if the change was in the oppositte direction reactions would be much more enthusiastic .. Just my two cents ...

I wonder if they're going to have to put that ghastly new joystick gearlever thingy in the B5? I suppose so...

When's the equivalent facelift due for the E63, I wonder?

Will the M5 touring have the self levelling air suspension at the rear too? Could this be the reason why the rear exhaust is so low near to the rear wheels I would like to see a pic of the bottom of a M5 touring...
