Been there, done that - my B5 Touring has been terrorising the UK's supercars for over a year now! What took M so long to catch up?

It does look very nice, this new M5 Touring, but somehow I don't think I'll be changing from the B5, which to me just makes more sense as a hauler.

Hope it gets over to the US though - with no Alpina B5 there, you folks deserve some form of entertaining Touring model!

Or you could wait for the Alpina X5, probably arriving late next year.

I agree that the B5 makes much more sense as a Touring.

In a way, I don't think the 'fake air mesh' things in the wing do so well in the Touring. Plus the B5 power delivery is more suitable for a one-for-all-purpose car. And its not like its trailing performancewise!

I've got it now, B5 Touring + E60 M5 sedan..Both in the same color, B5 with a trailer hitch for the CSL on a trailer with the track tires in the Touring!

Picture complete..Now , how much of UFH's 'wonder'stock options DID I buy

I will check on that since we own our own DIS.
I concur, all the E60 have the adaptive brake-light feature however disabled because not yet legal in Europe. As soon as it gets legal, your dealer can switch it on.

Really like the M5 touring, very neath!
Nice new interior touches.
