Audi W12 Vs. BMW M5

Who do you guys think would win between the Audi and the BMW.

My bets on the Audi A12, its got a kick as engine, and i think it can out power the M5 because it is so heavy......

Lets here what you think...

I've driven the W12, and it has no shot vs. the M5.

That's a new one -- the heavier car has a performance advantage over the lighter one???

I'm not too up-to-date on the current Audi-line up, but isn't the W12 the current V12-version of Audi's A8? Isn't that a quattro, resulting in a power-loss, at least on straights? How many hp has that car? More or less than the 760Li? When it comes to all-wheel-drive and weight, our X5 should outperform the 760Li and the M5....but hasn't happen so far..

LOL, I don't know why somebody would even bring up this match-up:

Numbers: (here we go again)

Audi A8 W12:

0-60 mph: 5.1 sec
0-100 mph: 12.3 sec
0-130 mph: 21.2 sec
1/4: 13.610 sec/105.1 mph.

E60 M5:

0-150 mph: 20.7 sec..........................

http://www.dragtimes.com/Audi-A8-Timeslip-6237.html

Cheers,

PS: In the rain A8 W12>M5..........from a dig............NOT from a role...haha

You have to be kidding comparing E60 M5 to W12 Audi !!! Fare comparison would be E39 M5 to W12 and even then I’m leaning towards M5 due to wait and 2WD
