To be fair this M5 was tuned.

In anycase, the fact that a family sedan does even with a exotice as Lamborghini Gallardo is great and my guess is that the M5 will have the upper edge if you ever have a race over 150 mph as well.

Below is the result of a standard M5, which is practiaclly even:

We ran a Gallardo e-gear against a Gallardo manual in the Northern Territory in August and the e-gear was noticeably quicker.

How about finding a stock 06 Gallardo e-gear and a stock M5 and running them together. I've got one of each but don't have the time or place to do a comparison run. By seat of the pants, the Gallardo FEELS faster in regular driving FWIW. Against the clock, who knows? Not much in it, to be sure.

Gustav, you need to give the Orange G a well earned rest. I took both of my cars to the drag strip last weekend. This what a 520 hp Gallardo can do:

Gallardo SE vs F430:

And the M5 is no slouch either.M5 vs Viper:

Solo Gallardo pass:

My best run on the quarter for the G was 11.89 at 118mph! From a standing start, rolling start it makes no difference, a stock G will beat a M5 or M6
