BMW M5 E60: New Clutch x 3 , New SMG Gearbox x 4 , New Flywheel x 2!!!

I have a M5 E60 and had to have the following replacements under warranty:

New SMG Gearbox x 4
New Flywheel x 2
New Clutch x 3

All the problems where not caused due to abuse but of common faults!

The car was brand new , registered in July 2005 and I have had many problems with it since , anyone ever had a new car from BMW or such?

Let me know

Not sure what the lemon law is across the pond, but I'm pretty sure that, in the States, if the car goes in to get the same problem fixed 3 or more time, you can apply the lemon law.

Hmm, sounds very bad. Did you discuss trading it in for a new one?

I would DEMAND a new car...no question about it.....wouldnt matter how they would try to sweet-talk me or even if I would get an Enzo as a loaner every time it went in to the shop.

Not only is the car unreliable, you will also have a hard time getting rid of that car when you decide for a new one..at least I would never buy a car with that history thats for sure.
