Almost always a BMW (I've had anything from X3 to 7er, never another M. I was put in a rental once when the dealership was busy. Didn't really bother me, just happy to have something to get around.

My dealer has both BMW and non-BMW loaners. I always get a BMW loaner without even asking.

It's a crap shoot with my dealership. Either nothing or a BMW. I just got a 530xi Touring today after dropping off my car for an airbag recall.

what the hell....I don't even think my dealership has BMW loaners. As long as I have owned a BMW I have always gotten an Enterprise rental economy sized car which often times didn't even have power steering. OOOOH I'm bitter.

Sweet! I'm not alone and I thought the receptionist offering me her roller skates was offensive, but your service takes the cake.

When I drop off my M5, I am always offered a loaner. If I want a loaner when I drop off my 323i, I usually have to wait two or three weeks before one is made available to me.

I always get a BMW loaner - a 325, 330, X3 or X5 whenever I'm in. However, I have to schedule the loaner usually a week in advance. If I'm in a jam and the car is nonfunctional (only once with the SMG), I'll get a loaner right there.

I want to hear about the shop that is giving out "M" loaners. I too, will bet a six-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon, that this doesn't exist. (You get your choice of drinking it yourself, or making me drink it.)
