VIDEO: 2006 BMW M5 in-car passenger video of Phoenix International Raceway
I was driving at about 6/10ths - passenger in car - 107 degrees farenheit outside!!

Car goes into overheat protection mode and takes SMG away - only allows "D" mode driving...

The vids are up and running! Good show! What's the setup on the car - tires etc? How was the D driving on the track?

Too bad that I didn't get to drive there while attending Thunderbird in Glendale. Loved the AZ!

im sorry but cammera work sucks, especially i like the 2nd clip it is very intresting to watch the dashboard.

LOL! It was a very small handheld camera...the reason for the second vid is that he was recording the MPG (6.0 - no less, no more) and the overheat warning on the screen.

This was not a professional setup - just a passenger with a handheld - thought I would share it!

As for the setup - STOCK. Stock tires, stock brakes, stock pressures, etc.

Only thing this car has different is no charcoal air filters and the AA ECU upgrade.

"D" driving on the track SUCKS. Not as much responsiveness - car feels very sluggish around the track. It would go into "D" mode and then cool off again and we would be back in SMG S6 until it heated up again.
