True, Gustav. I was passing judgement on the Z06/M6 video (since I want to see the M6 to win some)! What settings did you have the M6 at?

Thank so much Gustav and all the others who contributed to make the event. Wow! The M6 was a lot faster then I thought compared to the vette, I was quite impressed.

Uuuh, i think this just goes to show you how good the M6/M5 really is; the M6 had two people in it, that's about 160-180 lbs of disadvantage right there and frankly i had expected the Z06 to immediately disappear into the distance, which it really did not, instead pulled gently ahead. How about repeating it with only 1 person in M6 and two in Z06?

We are repeating it with a tuned BMW M5, that is

than the BMW M6

Gustav. If the video was filmed from the back seat of the M6, then the M6 had to carry around the weight of an extra passenger. The camera was obviously controlled by an actual person since you can see how the camera is rotating to keep the ZO6 in sight.

I do not see an additional passenger in the ZO6.

How did you keep this fair? Was the ZO6 carrying extra fuel?

1 person can attribute a 1-2 car lengths by 150 mph.

So if the ZO6 had 2 passengers and M6 had one passenger thats shifting the playing field by 2-4 car lengths. Race results would change quite a bit. Gustav, please try to set up all races with an even number of passengers in both cars to truly guage the accurate capabilities of these cars.

Not saying the outcome would be much different anyway....the M6 would still be behind.

From 100+ race would be closer. (I get these alot on the highway from 80 mph cruising speed) And over 150 would be even MORE interesting. Especially with a modded M6.

As you guys know I am still looking for a stock ZO6 to compare up against my M6 with 551 HP. Gears coming soon and then cams. The instant I find one, I will shoot a video from high and low speeds and post.

Anyhow, hats off to the ZO6! Its one fast car.

I'd like to see another race with 2 people in each car. Or, if you only have three people, put two in the vette and one in the M6. Having an extra person is like taking 20 hp away!

Well I kinda knew the out come of that race BEFORE even watching the video..The guy who boasted of his victory over the Z06 with his lightly modded M6 was a fantasy...
