I fitted the Eisenmann Sport on my beast. In the beginning the exhaust didn't seem to produce that much more noise than I expected. However, as miles go by and the exhaust has broken-in for good (after >1000 miles) I can say that all my friends ask me if I had further upgraded the exhaust part. Needless to say that, based on the exhaust's current growl , no one believes me.
However,...
I'm going to create an Eisenmann-SS hybrid by fitting the SS X-pipe (together with a BMC filter and brake pads upgrade) on my car and see what kind of noise the M5 will produce.

More news about my trial, next week though...

Cheers,

Theo

PS
Do you think that this kind of exhaust upgrades produce any significant power gains? Are there any dyno proofs for such upgrades?

Can you please post some vid of your sport exhaust (without x-pipe)? Revving, drive-by's, whatever you can. Would really like to know how the sound compares to the Race.

Yes, please - talking about how your exhaust sounds without posting a vid is like talking about how your car looks without posting a pic!

I have heard both and they are almost/if not identical. For those to say the "sport" is not as loud as the "race" then I have to question the way they came up with that conclusion. Maybe the "race" is a hair louder than the "sport" but it would be like comparing a 500' homerun to a 495' homerun; both will draw attention from the crowd. BTW, It would be interesting to see a low-end torque comparo of the "sport" verion to stock. I would wager a 6 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon on stock having more.

Cheers///
