I saw that 2% has radar warnings on their HUD. Is that an aftermarket thing and is it only possible with certain brands/types of radar detectors?

I beleive that just must be misunderstanding.

Well it was actually GfK that did it, not me. We'll never know who their customer was, but in anycase BMW apparantly did a great job!

This is a very interesting survey. I was happy to see that, although there was significant request for additional features, they recognized to potential issues of cluttering up the HUD with too much info. I think the best quote was, "with HUD, less is more."
I am curious about the new math. On page 4 they inlcude cruise control in the "over two-thirds" category while it listed at 48%. Last I checked, two-thirds was still 66 2/3%.
Maybe these guys want to tally up my final purchase price for me!

I think they mean the cumulative figures for Cruise, Navigation, and warnings. When averaged out, it comes to greater than 66 2/3%

Me thinks you are being too generous - it states that they "are all used" by at least two-thirds. Me also thinks that I am a nit-pickly, unforgiving pain in the ***. It is all about knowing one's own limitations!

Nice job, Gustav. As we all know, though, HUD height is adjustable. One of the repeated concerns in the slides.
