Dinan 3.91 Differential
Has anyone installed the Dinan 3.91 Limited Slip Differential in their cars. I'm thinking about doing it. I like what I've read about it.

still waiting for mine to come in !! should be in my car within 2-3 weeks.
905 keep us posted !! i cant wait, but i am a little worried about rpm's while cruising at 80-90 mph.

my only concern is if DINAN is going to try and hit us for another 500 bucks for the software upgrade ??? Im going to order one

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Cancelled it last Friday when it looked like they would be delayed for weeks. Got a call from the stealer today saying they are available.
I may wait to let one of you guys be the guinea pig!

The tech sheet says that it is 49 state legal mod. Does any one know what state has deemed it illegal? Living in CA I think I may know the answer.

Yep, it's Calif. But Dinan always eventually gets CARB certification on their products. They just recently were informed their S3 for the E39 M5 has been approved. But it's a LONG, EXPENSIVE, LABORIOUS process to get CARB approval!! But Calif. is a HUGE market for Dinan; so they go through it. 'Makes them unique among ALL tuners.
