2007 M5 Seat Options

Someone please help me in my dilemma:

I just placed an order for a '07 M5. I want to make changes before it goes into production.

I want the Multi-Function, Perf Leather and Ventilated seats.
I do not want the comfort seats that are similar on the 7-Series( tho I know they are comfortable, have whip-lash protection, adj wings for neck support).

I know for a fact that in 2006, if you get Perf leather, you automatically get the comfort seats.

Does anyone know for a fact if this is true for 2007? I ticked off all options except PERF LEATHER and VENTILATED SEATS.

Can I get the "sporty" seat with these options checked for 2007?

TIA,
Mike

yes. tick ventilation, perforated, and active seats and there is only one way you can get them which is not like the 7 series!

US SPec

I noticed u have ROW cars. In the US, we were getting different seats when ticking off Perf and Vent.

Do you or anyone know if the US spec 2007's will come with the "sporty" seats if all the above is ticked off?

As you have it ordered, you will get the sport seats, but you will not get ventilation without getting the comfort seats. Trust me, they are much better than the sport seats IMHO. You won't regret ticking that box. Perforated leather is soft, feels great, and the ventilation is a nice feature in CA.

Curious about the question the other way. Can you get the comfort seats without getting perforated leather and venilated seats? Thanks A

No. They come as comfort seats and require perforated/ventilated/active seat bolster options. They also require full leather!

I didn't get ventilated seats, but I also just picked the one that was in the port. Seems that's all I have missing. I do love the active seats though, and my passengers love it too. "The car hugs you!"

Anyone feel that the active seats are somewhat delayed? I opted for w/o and drove my bud's before I made the purchase. On hard turns, it was not immediate.

Well IMHO the ventilated aren't worth the money. Its pretty hot here in Texas and I have the occasion to use them frequently but I'm not sure they really work all that well. I can kind-of, sort-of feel a difference when they are on but its not dramatic. Certainly not worth the extra $. In fact, next time I bring the car in I'm going to have them checked out to make sure thats all I can expect. Do you guys have a duffernt experience with your ventilated seats? I do like like the perforated leather seats though.
