Dyno with & without charcoal filter removed

I'm surprised you gained 5 lbs/ft of torque with the charcoal removal, but
couldnt help but notice that your buddy has less torque with the AA software and the filter removed.

I also gained 5 rwhp . It was dyno with 5th gear.
I am planning to get the Active software too! then we'll find out more result.

Does doing this void warranty? Why is it there if it's so expendable? Sorry if it's sounds like a silly question but I see a lot of people doing it.

There's a long answer involving what car mfgrs have to go through to comply with latest emission requirements; but suffice to say those filters are supposed to reduce hydrocarbons.
