Hilarious. Very well done, that is the consummate "wolf in sheep's clothing!"

On another note, I have noticed at least 2 525i sedans with the front fenders/bumper of an M5. I can tell they aren't real M5 by the lack of rear valence, quad tailpipes, wheels, or mirrors. One such car I saw last night. he just stared at me like he was 'busted' or something. I gave him that 'I know what you did this summer' look and it was priceless.

Anyone else noticed 'fake' M5's rolling around??

Here is one such fake.

Some time ago I saw a black 530d debadged fully changed to an m5 look , incl exhaust, removed foglights, air inlets in the side etc. Only the gear stick was not.

BTW had 21" Alpina rims.

So the other way round.

OH MY GOSH I HAVE SEEN THIS CAR PASS ME IN "REAL LIFE" WHILE I WAS IN LAWRENCE!! It was being driven by a young spanish girl. I rolled down my window to give the thumbs up, and when I heard it, I KNEW it was a fake. I WAS SO F***KING PISSED OFF!

Nice try for some poor pathetic soul who wishes they can have what we have.

So if we happen to encounter one of these phonies on the street we'll have to give the ole "BALLS TO THE WALL" test - like Mick (Crocodile) Dundee did to the phonie 'Sheila' !!
