Congrats steve, she looks great. I'm not even going to mention the next wait of sorts for now (that'd be b****-in, lol ).

After spending an inordinate amount of time trying to get my V1 up and running, I decided to give up and snap some shots. Here ya go!

I have searched, found all the important threads on V1 installation. I tried the Green wire with yellow stripe, BOTH of them (one going to rain sensor (thick wire bundle, one going to sunroof switch.) Tried prayer and a rain dance. Still hot/dry and no one has answered my prayers yet.

Ah well, I still love her!

I am waiting anxiously for your pics!

Damn you Steve. So it's your fault!!! I picked up my beast this afternoon, and of course, it's been raining on and off all day. Never had a chance to look at the beeeuteeeful Silverstone in the sunlight yet

Let me know your thoughts on it as a fellow brand-spankin' new owner.

Yah... The rain came today. Guess I should head out and try the V1 again now. Hopefully it'll work. Took her for a drive down to SD on a golfing trip. 900 miles to go Calling to set my appointment for the 1200 mi service next week

Steve, I must ask...did you get a quote from the dealer on the V1 hardwire? Was it in fact outrageous?

Yup. Waiting until after the break in. Otherwise, what's the point!
This weekend, I've got Premier doing the clear bra, I'm still working on getting the V1 up and running, and I've got to get my Blinder installed. I think there is a place near me that does that.

How about you? Any other mods planned. Blinder? V1? Suspension? Rooftop Aux fuel tank? Side booster rockets?

Nothing major in the works yet. V1 definitely. Let me know how your installation goes. Sounds like you're hitting a few speedbumps on that one. The DIY post makes it seem like it would be somewhat straightforward, but things never go as easy as the pictures would lead you to believe. Don't think I have much need for the Blinder on the roads that I frequent, but I'm sure I'll change my mind when I get zapped.

Like you said, no point in pulling the filters out yet. I think the same goes for any other mods I may do. Would love put on the H&R springs to lower the car, but I'm already nervous enough about parking blocks

The booster rockets sound intriguing though......
