I need your help guys and gals. Should I keep my Eisenmann Race 4X83mm with the "Rolled tips" or switch to the Meisterschaft 4X83mm with the "LeMans tips" I can’t figure out which tip style will look better on the beast. Thanks for the input.
Nice. I got the SuperSprint Race exhaust and they have the 'LeMans' tips. I really liked the rolled tips that came stock, but honestly, the LeMans ones are growing on me big time. Just something to get used to I think.

I stand corrected. I just went out to check myself. It is the slanted cut of the tips that threw my dumbass off. I must say that they still don't look exactly like those tips...

I guess I do have LeMans tips. My tips are definitely different than the pic you posted of just the SS muffler. I am losing it. I guess I didn't drink enough coffee today. I would look at the pic you posted, then go out and look at the my car, then come back in and look at that pic. Everything started looking the same!! Sorry.
I have the SS Race and have the same tips as drewzMMM. They definitely are not rolled. At first I thought that the photo of the SS was of the Sport, rather than Race, exhaust, but the size of the mufflers in the photo shows the Race. In any case, the only angle from which the LeMans-type tips do not look as good is when viewed directly from behind, almost at ground level, because the tips are hard to see since they are so thin. However, from most other angles, I prefer the sleek look of the LeMans-type tips, and they help the pipes look wider.
No, I'm guessing they're still in customs because I have not received a call that they're on their way. A bit of a bummer -- I was looking forward to the experience this weekend.
Yes they do. I witnessed the install of my set and there is no way to avoid it. However, according to other members that have had them on for thousands of miles, the portion of the tips that come into contact with the rear valence apparently do not get hot enough to damage the paint. And they just look soooo good

To each his own MRich. I think your exhaust sounds fantastic, but the rounds just don't fit the aggressive look of the car, IMO. Shall we talk about some of the mundane cars that have round quad tips?:;

All in good fun. After all the talk of the ovals giving the AMG look, I couldn't resist throwing in the DTS photos, especially when I saw the Presidential limo. I don't mind the look of the ovals. You are correct that it gives it a more aggressive look. Choice is a wonderful thing.

Absolutely my friend. A little innocuous jab is good to liven things up. Look at Wayward and his not so subtle references to my poor Giants. I think he's managed to encorporate our pitiful Sunday night performance in just about every thread on the board.
