Sold! Hartge m5 - pics

Alright guys and gals. After a couple of months of "soft" marketing, I'm thinking about testing the waters again. Need some advice on price, but first, here are the details...

2006 BMW e60 m5. Silver gray with black leather interior and aluminum trim. Perfect condition inside and out. Approximately 5,000 miles. Car currently has complete hartge package including - wheels, tires, exhaust, suspension, front and rear spoiler. Check out the hartge website for more details...

http://hartge.de/html/e60m5uk.html

$15K in parts, painting and labor. Prefer to sell the car with parts, but willing to return to stock as well.

Thinking about marketing the car for $83,950 in STOCK form. This is $5K below msrp for a basically brand new car and probably $3-$5K below market for these cars, particularly here in CA. Price including hartge parts I was thinking $90,950. I have over $103K in this car and for the right buyer will be selling for $12K under what I paid. Car is in perfect condition. IS THIS A REASONABLE PRICE?

Had tons of tirekickers and people out for test drives and tired of dealing with the headache, but also want to find the right buyer who will appreciate a great car.

See add on Cars.com for more pics and please PM me with any thoughts/reactions

Thanks everyone!!
Kevin

Kevin,

If you want, you can drop off your car @ kronen for half a day and i will try to invite buyers to come and visit. No worries, they wont test drive the car. If you are interested, let me arrange something so i can try to locate potential m5 buyers. Hope this helps.

Kevin, you'll get the $$$ if you find the right buyer, I have found that for the general public who is looking for a M5, no wait a minute, the general public doesn't look for an M5....so, yes it will sell, you might have to be bendable with the 90k range....it is used...Iknow not much BUT it is used...Greg

looks sweet...agree that if you can be a bit patient you've done some nice things to the car (the wheels aren't my cup of tea but i could see most people loving them) and your pricing doesn't sound off base at all...$90k with those mods, seems about right to me with 5k miles. good luck with the sale...

Kevin, I sent you an email earlier today. Let me know if you consider selling the hartge mods alone. Thanks

Thanks guys for all of the responses. Great feedback. I'm in no hurry to sell. Just getting a bit fed up with the tire kickers and feeling my way through the mess. Have to admit that for the last month I've been pretty reluctant to return calls. Needed a break to get re energized!!!

Nothing wrong with the car at all. In absolute perfect condition. knock on wood haven't had any of the issues mentioned with some other cars on this board. I wouldn't expect any buyer to take my word for this and am totally fine with taking it to get a pre purchase inspection. Can guarantee it will come back spotless! Hoping to sell to a board member here or on other forums that I'm on. Really want to find her a good home.

Most of the interested parties like the car with the mods, but I would be willing to sell stock if that's what it takes. Please let me know if any of you know of a serious buyer looking for a hartge m5 in perfect condition.

Thanks again! Love this forum

btw, new house is part of the reason I'm looking to sell (at least that's what I tell the mrs.) Real reason is that I got the m5 since we just delivered twins and thought that I'd need the 4 door. Reality is that we just take the wife's car on the weekends! Had a 996tt previously and thinking about getting another porsche. Maybe the new 997tt or gt3. Also really thinking about the 993tt. Still my all time fav!

Hey everyone. Sold the car and (as fate would have it) now the phone is ringing off the hook! She went to a great home and will be well appreciated. Got a good, fair price and I know the buyer is happy as well. Local deal too, so it worked out for everyone. Thanks!
