Kevin,

Ah....a Guards Red 993 tt with Ruf wheels. A car after my heart. Sure is more 'sports-car-like' than the old sedan. No?

Enjoy in great health.

Whereabouts in San Francisco are you?
I graduated from St. Mary's in Moraga. Still have a house there.
However, I live in the Philippines.

Will do John!!!
With my track record, i'll be on to something new in a year!... although to be honest this one feels a bit different. I don't have to worry about the newer model coming out or this car getting old... it already is!!! Timeless look and last of the air cooled turbos.

Took a while to find the right car since porsche only brought something like 2000 per year in both 96 and 97 (vs. 6000 over 5 years for the 996tt). But they come up every once in a while.

I'm in the east bay. Walnut creek area.

Cheers!

CP,
I don't think we've ever met, but I definately know your car (ruf). She's gorgeous! Missed you at the annual Nor Cal porsche drive this year. We should hook up for a drive one of these days.

Definately more sports-car-like than the e60, but I have to say the m5 was a great car in her own right too! Just didn't meet my needs at the moment...

Hey Kevin,

I missed this years Porsche meet/drive at Carlsen Porsche. We Had another commitment. I went to the first one and that was fun. Glad you joined this one, the third I believe.

Every Saturday morning, the Ferrarichat boys and other car fanatics hold an impromptu car show in Santana Row in San Jose. Lots of great cars to oogle. This has been going on for about a month. I went to the first 2 meets and last time an Enzo showed up. They generally draw 50+ cars each week, and the word is spreading.

If it works for you, let's meet up for a short drive and end up at Santana Row at 9ish to grap coffee and talk cars. Should be fun.

Kevin,

In S. Cal, they have two meets, the Crystal Cove meet in Newport Coast along the PCH, and the VCR (Valley Coffee Roaster) meet in Calabasas. Both are spectacular events. The Ferrarichat boys wish to establish a Bay Area tradition/legacy like they do. I'd say we have just a many fine cars/sq. mile here as with LA, so if the words get out, we can have quite a meet as well.

I missed the last 2 weekends, and will likely go this Saturday. Are you free?

CP,
I as of now I'm around! Maybe I could swing by your place or somewhere near by before heading over to Santana Row?

Send me a PM

Where did you get all the stuff done to yours? Did you like the hartge exhaust?

Thanks, Brody
I have a Hartge rear splitter that I am not going to install on my M5. It has never been painted. Intrested, if so, send me a PM.

BTW, I'm in Portland, OR.
