The Ford GT is a true Lamborghini regarding rawness and looks, the Lambo has become a Ferrari, and the Ferrari has become something totally new...

Carrera GT is supercar-brainsurgery.

Still I would like to own one of the above, just to try something really special.

How much faster do you think the M5 would be if you go from S5-S6 and up the EDC to sport? Say from 60-130mph? It can't be that much can it?

The higher the speed, the smaller the benefit. At higher speeds, you're staying in gear longer, so shift speeds play a smaller role in overall acceleration.

Were you even trying to race, or was your objective simply to film them... **** - I could have kept up better than that in my wife's X3...

Don't think that there is a merc priced in the 280k range. The gap, as far as I know, is SL65 at 186k and the Merc/McLaren SLR is 453k. Is it one of those?

I played with one of those in my 996 Turbo and it was a joke. I might as well have been in a Kia.

you oviously don't get the point I am making

If you race your M5, and have video to report after, and have some of the best and fastest sports car out there as opponents, don't you not use everything the M5 got?? even if the difference at the end is minimal?

maybe it's just me, my .02
