We may be mixing apples and oranges here. The original poster is from Saudi Arabia. I expect there are significant differences between Saudi and US laws pertaining to automobile warranties.

Well the National After Sales Manager said he represent BMW corporate.....and he was so hard on judging Hartge for some reason!!... I believe company like Hartge which participates on different Shows worldwide should has somthing from BMW that insures their customers otherwise not many people will use Hartge... I really like the body kit but after this guy talks I am changing my mind.

Please explain how can a bodykit affect anything? The body kit is just bolt on front spoiler & rear spoiler.

I can understand engine/gearbox/ecu work voiding a warranty...but a body kit and rims? That doesn't sound right...I'd double check with someone at BMW for confirmation on that, it sounds like the dude just has a hard-on for Hartge.

I have read through the warranty on the Dinan site on several occasions and I don't think that is how it reads. Nothing Dinan says can extend or modify the policies of BMWNA. That being said, from how I read it, Dinan does warranty their parts mirroring the BMW warranty. This says nothing about Dinan warrantying parts not installed by them but destroyed by the additional horsepower that the car develops. I have always felt the Dinan warranty was deceptive and is one of the reasons why I have stayed away from them.

I could be completely wrong, but go to their site and read it for yourself. It seems pretty straightforward to me.

I know for a fact that Lamborghini will NOT repair the drivetrain on the Gallardo under warranty it has aftermarket wheels. Even if they are the same size as the standard rims. But I would be surprised if it was the same for BMW.

Well, it is better not to rely on one so-called official statements. It is better for you to ask around. Maybe not just authorised ppl from your country, but most probably you have to ask Hartge themselves. And lastly you can conclude the final judgement yourself.

Im just trying to give a suggestion here.
