Northern California M5 Owners

I noticed that M5 owners often meet up in various cities. Is there a San Francisco area M5 group that gets together for weekend drives? I was taking some pictures at the Marina last weekend and noticed some M owners getting together. But I prefer a group of only M5 owners. M3, M Roadster and M Coupe owners are a slightly different group of people. Any thoughts/suggestions?

We could have a NorCal and SoCal meet in the middle in the Central Coast. Great roads and we are famous for our Steak Houses and Santa Maria Style Bar-b-que

Hi SWP.

SF has to have one of the highest M5 concentrations in the U.S. I'll bet there would be good turn out.

I'm in. Sunday mornings are good for me.

In the East Bay, the Redwood Road drive from Castro Valley up toward Oakland is pretty special. . .

I grew up in Castro Valley. I was stealing my Mom's 66 GTO at 12 yrs old and would run out Redwood road to the East Bay Park area about 5 miles out. If my Mom had only known. Nothing like the sounds of screeching tires on those turns out there. I am game, my brother still lives in Castro Valley but he refuses to ride with me now.

I agree. It seems like dealers must be relenting on the mark ups as the M5 numbers are increasing dramatically. I now see at least five to ten M5s every week in the city (so far only black or grey). Unfortunately, I don't have time to organize. I was wondering if there is an existing M5 group or would someone be interested to organize an event?

LOL. We're all too busy paying for our cars! If Sunday mornings work for people reading this thread, I can take the lead in some "light touch" organization.

I can scout out a good rendevous point, twisty drive and end-point to meet up for coffee and post-drive chit chat.

I too have been seeing more e60 m5's lately and always wonder if they are a member of the board. maybe a small inconspicuous sticker to identify the board members is in order?

saturdays are best for me.
