I run a Viper at a local members- only track where an E60 with Esenmann runs. He has the race pipes. They sound absolutely fabulous, but his comment to me was they were too loud for daily use. His recommendation when asked the question was to go with the Sport setup. He states they're fine if you cruise but as soon as you get on it at all, they get loud.
After hearing his I would agree. The Race setup sounds fab, but would take away much of the function of the car for daily use.
