Week 18

Anybody else out there waiting with a week 18 build slot? Just wondering if you've heard anything or if you've gotten a production number yet.

I'm getting antsy!!

Week 18 allocations were given to dealers some time ago. If your dealer can't provide you a production number, and a copy of the order status report showing your configuration and confirmed week 18 production, then they're not being truthful with you.

Clients week 18 already built and on its way to the USA, something smells fishy!
Sometimes dealers make promises hoping to get allocations and then the time comes and no deal from BMW. They might be trying to trade with another dealer for a slot?! I would press for some answers. Did you give a deposit?

Deposit given. NO production number. Just told that I should expect to hear something within a couple weeks. Was the client's car built early? I was always promised that the vehicle would be built and ready by late June/Early July. Are they just way off on the week build #? If so, what week # should correspond to delivery in late June, early July?

Just a "symathetic ear" type of post here, but I'm in the same (row)boat. Ordered years ago, deposit placed in January, still waiting. It's for an M6, but frustration is frustration, non?

Bon soir! (and I'm not even french).

What I infer from this is they hope to get an allocation for you at the end of the month (BMW gives dealers allocations in the last week or so of each month, for month +2 production), so if it does happen, it will likely be a June production.

Based on this, that translates into a mid-July arrival? This is approaching MY2007 territory (not quite, but ...)

Depends on production week. Figure 6 weeks after production completed to CA dealer.
