How man Miles/KM per tank do all of you get in your m5?

I'm curious what is the average miles or KM per tank you guys travel? Also post up how you drive your beast.

It is just about like coffee I need to fill my tank every morning, but not quite, about every other day. I have seen about 200 to 275 miles on a tank of 15 to 16 gallons. The more highway miles I put on the more I see significant mileage increases. A lot of members have indicated mileage as low as 9mpg in stop and go traffic. Very large fluctuations.

You either need to own a gas station or have another car! This beast sucks hard I've got 700 miles on mine and the first few days I was seeing 11.2 MPG...now I'm up to 12.7 and climbing...yey! Mileage will get better with time (relatively). And as difficult as it is, I'm not driving her hard at all...S3 mainly and I shift at 4k. But she does burn oil during the first 1200 miles!

In mixed driving, about 200 miles per tank. This car really sucks it down around town.

I get 190-200 miles per tank. Because the reserve light comes on so early, I usually fill up when I have 140-150 miles on the trip odometer.
I think the main reason for the small tank is the shared E60 platform. It might be very costly to redesign the fuel tank without affecting the vehicle's crash worthiness. I for one would happily pay $500-$1,000 for an optional larger tank holding up to 25 gallons. The trunk is so large that some of it could be sacrificed easily.

If you mean how many miles until I fill it up: ~130- there is usually ~75 miles in the tank at that time. So that is about 200 total/ tank. My average MPG from day 1 is 10.9.
