Anyone paint or powdercoat the stock wheels?

I'm thinking of powdercoating mine black. Has anyone done this? I think the stock wheels are really cool but would like to do something a little bit different.

my car is black/black btw.

I remember early spy shots of the M5 at the ring had anodized dark grey or charcoal wheels - looked real good. Something I'll consider for our future black M5

Black wheels look fantastic

Hey Offroader!

I have a Sapphire Black M5 and just had the wheels painted in black. The car looks phenomenal. Aggressive yet discreet. I strongly advise it.

All the best, Moody

I have seen a couple, but I advice against it. The rims look much more smaller, with a nasty cheap finish. If this is the route you want, the only way is aftermarket to give it the aggresive look, and may I suggest not going black, but anthracite or shadow chrome to give it a stealth look.

What garage can do it?

I am thinking of ordering Z4Coupe with and putting aftermarket anthracite wheels on it.
Anyone from Europe knows a garage where they paint the wheels? It is difficult? I would like to get the original BMW wheels painted or something, dont feel like putting no-name wheels on a Z4 Coupe.
