Free M-Experience at BMW Perf. Ctr in SC

Okay, I arranged for my free M-Experience. Apparently, some of you aren't aware of this FREE offer, which includes (for 2 people):

* 2 nights in a Marriott Hotel
* Dinner on the first night for both people
* Introductory class about the car / controls the first night
* Full day of driving instruction on the car, including the full use of the various driving parameters and combinations thereof
* They'll also pick you up at the airport (and deliver you back there when it's time to leave).

The address is in Greer, SC.

To check on dates and sign up, just call them at 1-888-345-4269, and tell them you want to sign up for your free M-Experience. They'll send you (fax or email) a short form that takes about 2 minutes to fill out (you'll need either your registration, your bill of sale, or your lease agreement). Send it back and after a couple of hours, call them up to schedule your class. I'm going to the class that starts March 22nd.

Thanks Rodman

Yeah, I saw your post (and the great pics)... thanks. I chose to make this a separate thread rather than bury it within yours because I was under the impression that some people either didn't realise it was available to them or knew about it but didn't know what was involved and how to go about signing up. I figured if it was a separate post, those who fit the above were more likely to notice it.

Thanks for the kind words. My wife won't be able to get away so I've invited a childhood friend (who lives far away) to join me there for this, so really, I'm looking forward to it even more.

You fly into Greeneville/Spartenburg airport. Its about a 5 minute drive to the hotel from the airport. BMW actually made them expand the airport to an international airport before they would put the plant in Spartensburg.
Airfare from DC round trip on United Express, direct flight cost $300 for 2 people. Not bad!

March 12th session

Ok all, I've reserved a spot at the March 12-13th session of the M Driving Experience. Anyone else from this forum going to attend? Also, I didn't ask but I assume that the hotel is the Greenville Marriott - can anyone confirm this?

It is the Greeneville Marriott, right across from Michelin headquarters.

Hey guys take your bathing suits with you, the indoor pool and whirlpool are excellent and relaxing!!!! They also offer massage in the hotel and these girls are great!! The wife and I both got massage before the 1st night dinner, I think it was $80 for the hour. Our driver arranged the times for us, the staff there are very very friendly and helpful!!

My Suggestion: Act Like You Belong

Hey Bud, I don't know if our friends from the Great White North are accorded the M-Experience benefit or not, but my suggestion would be to call the number (at the start of this thread), get the application, and attempt to reserve your trip, all the while acting as though you fully expect to be accepted for this program. Let THEM explain to you why not, if that is indeed the case. The people setting up the reservations aren't all completely knowledgeable about every aspect of it, and the possibility exists that you may get signed up before anyone recognizes your Canadienessness. One of your countrymen (above) seems to indicate that this benefit is NOT available to Canucks, but in my experience, good things occasionally happen to those who try. I mean, once the person has signed you up, what are they going to do? Cancel you? ("but I've already purchased my non-refundable tickets!").

Good Luck and let us know what happens. - Tripp
