we have a lot of time to worry about shipping. air freight is tricky but i can usually get it done. i have done it for myself in the past ( i don't like waiting weither)

just in case, email chuck at chuck@racmonolites.com with any questions and to keep in the loop. he will likely send out info. this week and begin taking deposits. we are going to just deposit the funds with champion motorsports anyway since they will take credit cards and we cannot. I have to give them all of it anyway to get these wheels built. chuck can fill you in.

thanks

ralph

HEY RALPH...

Can you please take a picture of your Anthricite wheels on your M3 in the sun so we can get a good idea of the color. I'll send you beer money if that will motivate the adventure outside!

If you happen to have a couple different colors availible it would be nice to see them all side by side in the same picture or at least under the same light.

I basically just want to be sure that the anthricite is not too black.

Thanks for setting this all up!

FZ

anthracite wheels

this is in the sunlight; this is only medium resolution but fairly representative of the color. there is the slightest copper tinge to the color in certain light; in shade it is grey; at night it is darker grey but does not look black. It is the most interesting of all our anthracite choices - because of the heavy metal flake ( whick is tough to get in the pic w/o using high resoulution/raw, this color will go well with light or dark colored cars imo.

last call

chuck is taking final orders - the order will be placed as soon as we get deposits placed so please do so asap as the yen is in decent range right now. if the dollar slips against the yen we cannot order as it will increase your cost by almost $40 per wheel! We have taken final measurements.

BIG QUESTION: do we want to increase the lip on the rear to a 3" lip ( instead of 21/2). It will lighten the wheel a little. From our measurements, the offsets allow us to make the lip(s) bigger if we want. I personally would not increase the front lip to 1 1/2" although we could. On the other hand, I have a feeling on the rear the 3" lip would provide even more bling to the wheel without any downside - i mean - it is a 20" rim so 3" lip would not loose proportion. Let's just vote ya or nay and majority will rule. Either way the wheel will be spectacular. If you do not vote then I will vote for you by proxy ( he he )

If you think the 3" lip will look better, I will trust you. I'm not looking for extra bling, but if it saves weight and looks better, OK.
