I was hoping/thinking...

it would be the same design as the RG4 for the e46 M3....beautiful piece, the same design as the pictured on the RAC webpage...(which needs more photos BTW...). But we'll get a look at a single wheel prototype, I assume? What kind of time frame are we looking at, I can't keep riding around stock!

planning to build the Rg41 - look at post #46 above

The ones in post #9 on the yellow Porsche?
The yellow porsche has the older Rg19; we could easily build those but the new RG41 is going to be a far more up to date design and imo will suit the M5 far better. The RG41 is pictured in the CAD drawings in the #46 post.

we will be building a 9" front rim and a 101/2" rear rim. We will be doing our field measurements shortly. We want to be sure that the rims will accomodate the stock sizes as well as reasonable plus sizes. I cannot imagine too much interest in running larger than 275's up front or 305's in the rear and our choice of wheel sizes will accomodate that nicely. on the other hand, if you want to run stock sizes you can also do that with no downside and a bit more rim protection as the bonus.

ok folks, as we stand we do not have enough interest to proceed. i have several individuals but we need at least 5 more. if/when, i get more committments i will pick this up again. we did get the estimate of costs again from the factory and it seems the final costs will be just under $3400 which will put the retail at just around $5k. just PM me or round up a few more people and I will do everything i can to make this happen.

Shep,

I put my name down with Chuck for a set of wheels, but I am still torn on the color. Could you take a picture of your anthricite wheels in the sun, rather than the shade, so we can get a better impression of the color.

Thanks for putting all of this together,
Francesco

I worked with Shep when we made our RG8 wheel. These are great wheels and Ralph (shep) is one to trust 100%.

Thanks

Yes; I will do that this weekend and post it up. I will wait until mid-day and get a good shot in the sun.

we might have enought guys...

please PM me or email chuck@racmonolites.com we will take a count this week and if we are even close i will make up the difference and give the ok to build these wheels. those that miss out on this will regret it, that i can assure you, those of you who are taking advantage of this, you will be well rewarded. i will speak to the factory this week and authorize the final drawings ( which will take a few weeks at least as they are swamped. During that time chuck will take deposits. you have time to choose colors. i am very excited about building 20's - this is going to be amazing on the 'beast'

I just drove to a shop to see the RS110. They're absolutely beautiful! My friend is picking up a set for his Lotus this Wednesday. I'd be very tempted to put those on the M5.

shep01: Have you ever given any thought to putting sizing availability info on your website?
